Letter from the PRESIDENT

Dear Tildenville Elementary School Families,

 

Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year! 

My name is Erika Dziouksz, (aka Erika QD) and I have the privilege of serving as your PTA President for the upcoming year. 

I hope everyone had a fun and restful summer and you are ready for another wonderful and productive school year. Your school and PTA have been hard at work throughout the summer to prepare for this new school year, that brings excitement and anticipation, along with the promise of learning and growth. 

 

Whether this is your first year as a Tildenville Elementary parent, or you are a long-standing member of this family, we are so glad that you are here! 

Tildenville Elementary is not just a school, but a community. Everyone works together, from administrators, faculty, and staff, to parents, volunteers, and students, to ensure an enhanced, challenging, and rewarding academic experience for ALL students. Everywhere you turn, you will find people going out of their way to make our school a better place.

As a parent, one of the best ways to become involved at Tildenville Elementary is through the PTA. Becoming a member does not require anything from you, and keeps you in the loop of fresh info and announcements. Still, every effort to participate or volunteer is vital for our school’s success, so if you want to do so, you are very welcomed! 

 

Why do we need your membership?  The bigger our group, the more resources we find. If our membership rate equals the number of families in our school, we show the county that we are a solid group working together towards one goal, to make our school excel. We work to ensure the success of a variety of school-wide events and initiatives, in addition to providing academic resources and enhancements for a variety of enrichment programs.

 

PTA fundraising efforts have also allowed incredible tangible results in recent years: water filters, fans for the Pavilion, cork rails, new door mats. We launched new spirit wear and we are planning to add spirit items to our school store. We are also actively working on the beautification of our grounds.

 

Our success is only possible because of YOUR SUPPORT.

 

Tildenville Elementary is your home, and I invite you to join us in supporting our children, teachers, and staff in continuing Tildenville Elementary’s tradition of excellence. I hope to have the opportunity to meet each one of you this year.
